Accessibility statement
This statement covers websites owned and operated by Network N Media Ltd.
We want as many people as possible to be able to use our websites. For example, that means you should be able to:
- change colours, contrast levels and fonts
- zoom in up to 300% without the text spilling off the screen
- navigate most of the website using just a keyboard
- navigate most of the website using speech recognition software
- listen to most of the website using a screen reader (including the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver)
- We've also made the website text as simple as possible to understand
AbilityNet https://mcmw.abilitynet.org.uk/ has advice on making your device easier to use if you have a disability.
How accessible these websites are
We know some parts of our websites are not fully accessible:
- No ability to skip navigation elements, for example, with screen readers
- Some images may not have alternative text
- Our search facility may appear as an empty link, without a label or default text
- Pagination may not work with non-Javascript browsers or with Javascript switched off
- Some script elements may not have a noscript alternative
- Some items may have Title text that is redundant as a descriptor
- Some elements may not have sufficiently high contrast
- The 'More' section in some of our navigations does not adequately describe the contents within the menu.
- Our disclaimer text for affiliate is a smaller font size than other text so may prove difficult to read
- Accessible button labels may be absent for non-Javascript browsers
- Third party scripts, media and advertising elements are not within our control and may introduce accessibility issues
What we are doing to improve accessibility
We review our websites using WAVE and other evaluation tools and create tasks to improve accessibility issues as part of our ongoing website developments.
